Symroc’s induced seismicity monitoring network is used by a public natural gas company in compliance with Alberta Energy Regulator’s requirements. Symroc's client has been required by the AER, the province’s sole regulator of oil, oil sands, natural gas, and coal resource development, following the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act (EPEA) to monitor and report seismic activities near its oil and gas operation sites.
